PRO CAPTURE

Pro Capture Mode nails those near impossible shots. It starts buffering a running series of 20MP images when you press the shutter button halfway. TOUCH AF/TOUCHPAD AF

Control the AF frame based on the way you’re shooting. If you’re using the viewfinder, simply drag your thumb across the rear monitor to use as a trackpad. If you’re shooting with the monitor, instantly select your focus point by tapping the display. When you enable Touch AF Shutter, tap the monitor to focus and shoot simultaneously.
 

AF TARGETS

Accurately capturing your subject is easier with one of six AF Targeting Modes. Use Single for landscape or shooting with a tripod. 5-point tracks moving subjects clustered together and 9-point AF Target is for moving objects like an airplane or an athlete. 25-point AF Target focuses on smaller moving subjects such as a flying bird. 121-Point AF Target tracks subjects moving through the entire screen while Small provides extra-fine, pinpoint focus.

Taking a 50MP photo is as easy as setting up a tripod and attaching the E-M5 Mark III. Our Tripod High Res Shot Mode does the work. The image sensor automatically moves in 0.5 pixel increments while taking 8 shots in under a second. The shots are merged together creating one unbelievably detailed, super-sharp image.
 

ANTI-FLICKER SHOOTING

Improve indoor photography with our Anti-Flicker Shooting Mode. It compensates for artificial light by automatically activating the shutter at peak brightness to smooth exposure and color difference between frames. A Flicker Scan feature eliminates striped patterns caused by flickering light on the monitor by setting a shutter speed so the patterns aren’t noticeable.
 

LONG EXPOSURE MODES

Something for long exposure enthusiasts. Live Composite Mode stitches together multiple images shot at the same shutter speed, keeping the images from getting too bright. 1/8000 SEC. HIGH SPEED MECHANICAL SHUTTER
